Plays and the designer

Drawing, tagging, defense variants, flipping, and animation.

The tools

One play, several defenses

You don't need a separate play for every front you might face. Draw the play against one defense, then use the Defense faced switcher in the designer to save a version against the next one. The play stays one entry in your library, and you switch fronts like a filter when you open it.

Picking a formation for your own side clears the defense, so you start each look fresh instead of deleting eleven defenders by hand.

Flipping

Create flipped play mirrors a play into a new, named one in a single step — 32 Blast becomes 31 Blast, drawn to the other side. The original is untouched. Flip, by contrast, mirrors the play you're looking at.

Animation

Any play with routes can be played back. Everyone moves at a real speed rather than finishing together, so a deep route genuinely takes longer than a hitch. It's available in the designer, in present mode (spacebar), and to players on their own play view.
